More On Obama Trying To Interfere With Iraq Negotiations

From Susan Duclos' Wake Up America

I added this as an update to a the previous piece where we saw that Barack Obama tried to interfere in U.S./Iraqi negotiations while he was on his supposed fact finding junket, with quotes from Iraqi officials giving the details of the extent of what Obama did and how he deliberately tried to stall troop withdrawals for his own political gain. Now, via email, Move America Forward has issued their news release regarding Obama's actions.

PRO-TROOP PAC CONDEMS OBAMA ATTEMPTSTO STOP U.S. TROOP WITHDRAWAL FROM IRAQDISGRACEFUL ACTION TAKEN IN IRAQ FOR POLITICAL ADVANTAGE!
(SACRAMENTO) -- Move America Forward’s political action committee, MAF Freedom PAC, today condemned Barack Obama for “putting his own political objectives ahead of the safety of U.S. military personnel in Iraq.”Iraqi government sources have revealed to the New York Post that Presidential candidate Barack Obama demanded Iraqi officials stop negotiations with the Bush Administration to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq. Fearful that the success in Iraq would harm his political aspirations, Obama sought to keep U.S. troops in Iraq so he can continue attacking the Bush Administration for not imposing a timetable for withdrawal.“If these allegations prove to be true, it should be the end of the Obama campaign,” asserted MAF Freedom PAC Chairman, Melanie Morgan.“Obama should have the decency to recognize that he lacks the moral character to serve as Commander-in-Chief, and he should withdraw from the ticket. I have never heard of any candidate deliberately trying to get Americans killed to prove their point.”
According to the New York Post story, not only did Obama seek to get the Iraqi’s to stop negotiating with Americans on the troop drawdown, he also tried to bully General David Petraeus to agree to a hard withdrawal date.“The hypocrisy of Barack Obama to say in the United States that he wants a speedier troop withdrawal date, while telling the Iraqis to stop negotiating is appalling. Even supporters of a quicker U.S. withdrawal must be sickened by his conduct in Iraq. If there was ever a candidate who has demonstrated the lack of character and leadership to represent the United States in foreign affairs, it is Barack Obama,” Morgan concluded.MAF Freedom PAC is the political action arm of Move America Forward (website: http://wwwwakeupamericans-spree.blogspot.com/www.MoveAmericaForward.org), the nation’s largest pro-troop organization. The patriotic group is led by San Francisco pro-troop activist and renowned radio & television personality, Melanie Morgan.
Is MAF awesome or what????Yeah Melanie!!

A note from Radarsite: Wow. Thank you Susan and Melanie. This could be, should be, the biggest story of the campaign. This more than any other scandal, or rumor of scandal should be the end of Barack Hussein Obama. However -- and this is a huge 'However' -- will the media give it the attention it so obviously deserves? Or will they bury it under a mass of propaganda and lies? Or, worse still, will they just try to ignore it?
This is going to be a test of wills. The will of the American people versus the will of the media elite and the Internationalist, anti-Americanist Obama crowd. This should be -- must be the most important story in this election. If we are to stand a chance of keeping our great country free and American, we simply cannot allow this monumental scandal to be swept under the rug. Perhaps a great deal of the responsibility for this imperative mission rests on the shoulders of our citizen journalists, our fellow bloggers. We cannot, must not let this die. We cannot, must not let this immoral person near the White House. Or God help America - rg

  1. If McCain tried to do this the media would have been all over him like a fly sticks to honey. But let it be Obama and it is alright.

No it isn't. He should keep his nose out of things not yet (and with God's help, never will be) his concern.

  2. This is the McCain camp's statement. Its on NRO.

"At this point, it is not yet clear what official American negotiations Senator Obama tried to undermine with Iraqi leaders, but the possibility of such actions is unprecedented. It should be concerning to all that he reportedly urged that the democratically-elected Iraqi government listen to him rather than the US administration in power. If news reports are accurate, this is an egregious act of political interference by a presidential candidate seeking political advantage overseas. Senator Obama needs to reveal what he said to Iraq's Foreign Minister during their closed door meeting. The charge that he sought to delay the withdrawal of Americans from Iraq raises serious questions about Senator Obama's judgment and it demands an explanation."

  3. Maybe it's just me, but why is he involved in negotiations with the Iraqi government in the first place, having meetings "behind closed doors"? He is still just a senator from Illinois, not yet (thank GOD) a member of the executive branch of the government. Again, maybe it's just me. Perhaps I wasn't a very good student in civics class - when they still bothered to teach that subject in school...

Personally, I vote for OPTION D in the manner I think the MSM and the Obama campaign and his mindless followers and the Democratic Party in general will deal with this scandal: Blame it on Bush. Or better yet, blame it on Palin.

The more I learn about this man, the more ill I become.
