Can a good Muslim be a good American?

This question was forwarded to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. The following is his reply:
Theologically - no. . . . Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon God of Arabia
Religiously - no. . . Because no other religion is accepted by His Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)(Koran)
Scripturally - no. . . Because his allegiance is to the five Pillars of Islam and the Quran.
Geographically - no . Because his allegiance is to Mecca , to which he turns in prayer five times a day.
Socially - no. . . Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews .
Politically - no. . . Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America , the great Satan.
Domestically - no. . . Because he is instructed to marry four Women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34)
Intellectually - no. . Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.
Philosophically - no. . . Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran does not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.
Spiritually - no. . . Because when we declare 'one nation under God,' the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran's 99 excellent names.
Therefore, after much study and deliberation.... Perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. - - - They obviously cannot be both 'good ' Muslims and good Americans. Call it what you wish it's still the truth. You had better believe it. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future. The religious war is bigger than we know or understand. .. .... And Barack Hussein Obama, a Muslim, wants to be our President? You have GOT to be kidding! Wake up America !
Footnote: He refuses to pledge allegiance to the United States or put his hand over his heart when the National Anthem is played! The Muslims have said they will destroy us from within. Hello! Having a Muslim president would seem to fit the bill! Will you trust this man with our national secrets?

A note from Radarsite: The logic contained in this small essay is simple but irrefutable. To win this GWOT which we have had thrust upon us, we must first have the courage to face things the way they actually are, not the way we wish they were. The truth is not always pleasant -- in this particular case it is extremely unpleasant. But that doesn't make it any less true. We have to start getting serious about our commitment to our own safety and survival and begin to recognize this dangerous new world for what it is. We have to start asking ourselves the really difficult questions. And we have to have the national will to act on the answers -- no matter what it takes.Is it safe to have a thriving Muslim population living here amongst us with demonstrably dubious loyalty to the United States? Is it safe to allow Muslim organizations to flourish unchecked here on our own shores during this War Against the West declared by Islam? Is it safe to have Muslims increasingly infiltrating positions of power and influence within our own government? Is it safe to have Muslims in sensitive positions in our Military and Intelligence organizations?
These are just some of the hard questions we must at least begin to ask.
But can we?
Will we?
Do we have the necessary courage to override the multiculturalist's PC environment in which we find ourselves? Do we have the necessary courage to put our national security concerns over the concerns of offending the racial, ethnic, religious or cultural sensitivities of an immigrant population whose loyalties are this suspect?
Right now, it doesn't look too promising, does it?

ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I've read this allegation. Are you able to cite the source for this? Ditto that he was sworn in to his current office via the Quran. A citation would go a very long way in convincing others - in the 29 or so days remaining to us - to vote for McCain. In my discussions with people (who might yet be persuaded), I'd tie your cite in with the COLB controversy. Thanks in advance for any link you can provide. In the meantime, I'll be doing my own research. This is a dynamite argument and I'll email it to everyone I know as soon as I can source the info.

Good catch Denise-Mary. He did not swear his oath of office into the Senate on the Koran, but on "his own bible". I am going to delete that sentence from the article.
ReplyDeleteThere is so much wrong with Barack Obama, that we do not need to use false information to discredit him. He does a very good job of that all on his own.
However, if he were -- God help us all -- to be sworn into office as President, I have no idea of which book he would choose.

ReplyDeleteI think you have grossly misunderstood Radarsite's mission statement.
This is not a forum to debate the merits of Islam but a site dedicated to defeating it. Most especially to removing the scourge of Islam from our shores.
It is our purpose here to attempt to educate people on the true nature of this horrific cult and to give them the ammunition to fight back against it.
No matter how you attempt to reframe the issue it remains crystal clear: Islam is the enemy of freedom and democracy. It always was, it is now, and it always will be. Everything else is obfuscation and propaganda.
Americans don't need more tolerance, they need less. We are naively irresponsible in our tolerance of dictatorial intolerant and murderous cults; to survive we must begin to understand the true nature of this threat and then find the will to fight back against it.
