From Radarsite: A Message to All My Fellow Conservative Bloggers

I feel exonerated and reinvigorated. This message is in response to the latest articles on Radarsite about Obama's pronouncements on his official website.

Up until now, we have essentially been fighting a shadow war. We have been fighting against illusory and conjectural hypotheticals: This is what may/will happen if you elect Obama. We were voicing our (thoroughly-researched) opinions on what could happen to America in an Obama administration. Obviously, a majority of Americans didn't believe us, and they ignored our warnings.

But now things have changed. Now we are no longer dealing with hypotheticals, we are dealing with actions and facts. No longer is it just a matter of opinion, it is now a matter of record. As the previous two articles have proven, there are no lengths that they will not go to to squelch dissent. They will cheat and lie and try to intimidate us. They we deny the evidence in front of them, because their truth is the only truth. This demonstration of their intent is what has made me (and hopefully all of you) feel exonerated.

Our enemy is out in the open now. We are no longer fighting shadows. And this development reinvigorates me and gives me strength.

Here is my mandate, and I am convinced that I speak for all of you as well --
We will not be intimidated. We will not be silenced. We have just begun the fight. - rg

God bless America

  3. They're desire to shut all of us up is back firing. Seems more and more are speaking up and not just sitting in silence.

After this year's election I am more informed and more educated than I have ever been before... they're plans have backfired; I will stand against them until I can stand no more.

    "drama"... it's a good thing. :)

That is the message that must be kept fresh (and I might add for us start each morning with a prayer, an adddendum to our rituals).
We are experincing what the absence, obfuscation and corrupton of the truth can bring us. (Note: the tense is present and real time is where we must orient this contest.)
What is very important, however, is to be circumspect in our contentions - thinking them through.
Don't make wood chips on the shoulder - better we look at them as building materials.
How did Tom Sawyer get the fence whitewashed? He made it important to others and enthusiasm got it done. And the gang to pride in doing it well.

  5. We must hold our elected officials accountable for their actions. They have to remember that they serve us, the people. That they have a temp job, it is not a permenment position. And that we will not be silenced. We will not go off quietly. We will be heard.

  6. My Dear Shawmut,

Agreed. The vigilance called for here must be two-sided. Obama-Derangement-Syndrome threatens to derail all legitimate scrutiny at every turn. The temptation is great, but without a hippie-media to echo conservative ODS, it will bring only shame, as it should.

However, where and when genuine affront to the principles of freedom and the American ideal takes place, we must be present, loud, clear, accurate, and persistent. We believe "integrity" would be the term. (Rogers post above being a SPLENDID example.)

To this we too must "mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor."

    Cheers,

    Charlie

  7. Roger will be away from his computer today. He would say "thank you" everyone for your fine comments. As always, Radarsite readers focus on the issues of freedom and liberty for all.

  8. I hope Roger is taking it easy and resting after this election. I worry about him, the hours he keeps. Everybody needs down time.
