Sprechen Sie Österreichisch?

That's OK, Mr President. If you don't know it in Austrian, you can say it in:

American
Canadian
Mexican
Brazilian
Argentinian
Chilean
Bolivian
Costa Rican
Uruguayan
Salvadoran
Puerto Rican
Swiss
Syrian
Egyption
Iraqi

Or you can always ask your ace Secretary of State for guidance.

    If he had said, "Ich weiss nicht wie mann dass sagt auf Deutsch," he would have been okay.

    Do they use "Oesterreichisch" for the language spoken in Austria?

    Je ne sais pas.

    Anyway, the point is this is "El Presidente" that chided Americans for being boors because they do not speak any foreign languages, no sabe el lenguaje que hablan en la Austria.

    Did I use these non-English languages correctly? I have no idea, but being upbraided by such a one as that poseur.

    Not showing off, only trying to make a point and having a bit of fun doing it.

    Sie haben Rechts. Obama hat keine Ahnung. Man spricht Deutsch in Oesterreich, nicht Oesterreichisch.

    La derniere fois que je suis alle en Autriche, on parlait Allemand-Je suis sur.

    Y Ud. tiene razon. Obama no debe decir que (todos) los norteamericanos no puedan hablar otros idiomas.

    (Disculpe si he hecho unos errores-especialmente por la falta de las marcas diacriticas.)
