This week, quick action by LAPD, acting on a distress call from Senator Diane Feinstein's office in Los Angeles, resulted in the capture of several senior members of a group of right-wing terrorists that had been mentioned in the recent Dept of Homeland Security report. Alerted by Senator Feinstein's staff, LAPD officers converged on the office in West LA preventing what might have been a horrific attack. It turns out that the suspects had arrived at the office of Senator Feinstein to voice their displeasure with the health care plan in Congress. One of their non-negotiable demands was to speak with the Senator by phone, but the rescue operation by the police came about before that could be carried out. Curiously enough, no weapons were seized in the operation.

Attorney General Eric Holder has pledged the full cooperation of the US Justice Department in assisting LAPD to identify other members of this group who may still be at large

This is proof positive of what DHS Director Janet Napolitano was talking about when she warned us about these dangerous characters. It's about time someone starting waking up to the threat these people pose. After all, all of the suspects have been around 70-80 years. The only question is why did it take so long to bring them to justice?

Congratulations to Senator Feinstein and her staff.
