Blips on the Screen: 24 Feb 08

Note to my readers: So far, Radarsite has managed to stay away from political endorsements or attacks. But this I believe is a very different issue from the usual Democrat/Republican arguments. Before posting that picture of Omama in muslim garb, I did consider all of those foolish photo ops that almost all of our previous Presidents have made over the years in an effort to be cordial to an ally, or to show solidarity, or even to show that they have a sense of humor.

But it is this writer's opinion, that this goes into a whole other place. It's much more than merely foolish -- he is making a statement. And it's a downright dangerous statement. Because it makes friendly with our enemies, it validates them and their cause and gives them a certain respectablilty that few of us around here feel they deserve. Remember, it is the muslims who have declared war on the West, against the Zionists and against America, not the other way around.

Barack Obama's populist Socialistic/Leftist agenda is definitely scary. But the Muslim thing, his true feelings on this most dangerous subject -- in this particularly threatening climate -- is much more troubling and ominous. Despite the "positive message" of his highly-effective rhetoric, and under that pleasing exterior it's difficult to discern or to trust his real motives (or his wife's real feelings). He seems to admire muslims and appears to have a barely-concealed anti-semitic, racist Black Supremicist agenda. She seems to have a grudge against White America. To this particular voter, the prospects of having this particular couple settling into the White House are even scarier than Hillary's anti- military, one-world Socialism.

And, finally, even if we might be wrong about all of this, who wants someone in the White House about whom we can have all of these serious (and legitimate) doubts during these perilous times?

  1. No Kidding Roger--there's just too many questions surrounding this duo and they are being very, very careful in hiding their true agenda.

I don't like Hillary in any way, shape or form, but we certainly have a better idea of exactly where she and Bubba stand and what their agenda is.

  2. Great piece Roger. Obama's undeniable connections to Islam cannot be ignored. If they are -- it is at the peril of more nations than the United States.

Interesting accompanying pic. He appears quite serious and focused...

  3. Thank you Helena. That is an interesting observation. One can only wonder though -- serious and focused about what? Too many questions. Too many doubts.

  4. Just as a point of reference Roger, please see this. Now, I'll admit that it isn't a turban, but how much difference is there? Or when the President holds hands with the Saudi?

  5. Thank you Storm for that. But just as a point of reference, I saw that particular photo -- and many more like it -- before I decided to post that picture, which is precisely why I took the time to write that Note to my Readers. I think I have already explained why I consider this so different than those other presidential photo ops -- no matter how ill-advised or foolish they might have been.
I think I stated my position quite clearly in that note. If that is in some way perceived as being unfair to Barack Obama, so be it. I would rather be unfair to him and his questionably patriotic wife, than run the risk of the United States becoming another United Kingdom.

  6. Obama's ties to communism (Frank Davis) his refusal to respect American traditions and his wearing a Somalia elders dress (supposedly to respect their traditions?) when everyone knows they are nearly all Sunni Muslims as well as his Muslim ties should all be taken in conjunction.

While this might provide a sympathy boon for Obama in the short run, i believe in the long run, this picture, if pounded on, will be burned into Americans minds, as it should be.

And NOW.....Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan said Sunday that presidential candidate Barack Obama is the "hope of the entire world" that the U.S. will change for the better.

yes, the country NEEDS every reminder as often as possible of who and what Obama really is.

    GREAT job Roger.

  7. The picture is one thing, but his past experiences and connections are what really peak my interest. I do not want this man as my president.

    Obama's Terrorist Connections?

Plus his connections, including blood ties, with Kenya.

  8. I put this on my blog, but I think it will get more reading here. It is a comment from One News Daily:

Louis Farrakhan heaps praise on Barack Obama
    Fred Jackson - OneNewsNow - 2/25/2008 8:15:00 AM

Nation of Islam minister Louis Farrakhan says Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is the "hope of the entire world."

Associated Press reports that Farrakhan, addressing some 20,000 people Sunday at the annual "Saviours' Day" celebration in Chicago, never explicitly endorsed Obama but spent most of a nearly two-hour speech praising the Illinois senator. AP says Farrakhan compared Obama to Nation of Islam founder Fard Muhammad, who also had a white mother and black father. He suggested that Obama "could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall."

According to the Chicago Tribune, Farrakhan spoke about the war in Iraq, the nation's economic problems, and the increase in natural disasters, saying the world was in a perilous state and Obama could help it recover. "This young man is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be a better place," he said.

The Tribune reports that Obama's people moved quickly yesterday to try to downplay the praises of Farrakhan, who has a history of controversial remarks -- particularly regarding the Jewish people. The newspaper quotes Obama spokesman, Bill Burton, who said that "Senator Obama has been clear in his objections to Minister Farrakhan's past pronouncements and has not solicited the minister's support."

  9. Thank you Mike Thayer (Liberty Card}. That's a perfect addition to this post.
