Foreword: Several weeks ago I was sent a ranting email about me posting on the American Military now talking in Armageddon terminology within the present 21st Century global military climate.
Here is an article that supports my post and the thinking that surrounded it.
We are living in the 21st Century now, not the 7th Century.
The armies of Islam want to destroy our civilisation. They do not have the conventional military power in which to achieve their aims, but they are not fighting a conventional military war against us, they have taken warfare beyond the convention of our military might and into the 4th generation of warfare where they do not need large air, land and sea divisions to achieve their aims of destroying our way of life. All they need is a team of Islamic suicide bombers and some potent 21st Century technology.
It is not a matter of if it will happen it is a matter of when will it happen and where.
My money would be on Rome - The seat of Christendom - Within the Islamic World's eyes, and I am writing my thoughts about this in my book.
America is the ultimate target because it is the bastion of Christendom, but there must be a strategy behind those who have goals of global domination.

A terrifying vision of a devastated America in the wake of a nuclear attack
Washington is laid to waste. The Capitol is a blackened, smoking ruin. The White House has been razed. Countless thousands are dead.
This is the apocalyptic scene terrorists hope to create if they ever get their hands on a nuclear bomb.
The computer-generated image above was posted on an Islamic extremists' website yesterday.
It appeared as rumours swept the Internet that the FBI was warning that an Al Qaeda video was about to be released urging militants to use weapons of mass destruction to attack the West.
The information was said to be coming from 'groups that monitor Islamic militant websites'.
The FBI was quick to point out that it had not issued any warning and that the video was not an official Al Qaeda release through its media arm, Al Sahab, but simply an ' amateur' collection of old footage spliced together and posted on the Internet.
U.S. analysts said a lot of effort had been put into the video - entitled Nuclear Jihad, The Ultimate Terror - with graphics, music, and clips of different leaders and groups.
The same expertise seems to have gone into creating this image of a devastated Washington.
Al Sahab puts out more than 80 'officially sanctioned' videos a year to keep up the propaganda on the West. And the Internet shows how easy it is to stir up militancy. One message with the Washington picture said: 'The next strike's in the heart of America. When? When? When? And How?'
Last night FBI sources said Al Qaeda was desperate to get its hands on a weapon of mass destruction, be it nuclear, chemical, or biological.
So far that is only a dream... or, as this picture suggests, a nightmare.
Update
Thank you anonymous for leaving this in the comments section.
I spoke about a British Chernobyl recently on SouthWest Christian Radio with Pastor's Noah Hutchins and Larry Spargimino (I will link it when I get the link).
Anybody from anywhere is being invited to work at British 'sensitive sites' such as the nuclear waste storage facility at Sellafield http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7444315.stmhttp://www.blogger.com/%3Cit%20href=">
It only takes one Muslim with a low yield suitcase-sized nuclear weapon expoded in the right place in Sellafield's high-level waste-storage to take out most of Western Europe. Even a conventional explosion would make a hell of a mess.
A Muslim inside a nuclear power station wouldn't need to smuggle any explosives in do a reasonable repeat performance of Chernobyl, which after all was an Homer Simpson style 'accident' rather than deliberate sabotage.
Sound far-fetched? Check out these links:
"And Jack Straw's mullah-coddling is particularly unworthy in that, insofar as Iran has a strategy, the president's chief adviser, Hassan Abbassi, has based it on the premise that "Britain is the mother of all evils" - the evils being America, Australia, Israel, the Gulf states and even Canada and New Zealand, all of which are the malign progeny of the British Empire. "We have established a department that will take care of England," said Mr Abbassi last May. "England's demise is on our agenda." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/main.jhtml?xml=/opinion/2006/01/17/do1702.xml&sSheet=/opinion/2006/01/17/ixop.html

"The newspaper has a tape recording of Abbasi when he spoke of Iran's secret plans, which include "a strategy drawn up for the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization." To bring this about, Abbasi said, "There are 29 sensitive sites in the U.S. and in the West. We have already spied on these sites and we know how we are going to attack them." http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/s_247793.html

If their target were Washington, DC, I'm not sure whether Americans would attack them or praise them. It might depend on whether they detonated it while Congress was in session.
Seriously, they would quickly become the martyrs they seek to be.

The US should make it known that any nuclear terrorist attack on the US or its allies will result in the total destruction of Mecca and Medina if the offending nation to sponsor the attack isn't identified.
ReplyDeleteFurther if the nation is identified, then the full force of the US will come down upon that nation. That is more than just the conventional forces the US has. But goes to all nuclear, and other WMD's the US controls.
This would send a clear message to Muslim extremists that to attack the US or its allies in any way will mean the total destruction of your lands.
I more than agree Findalis -- I wholeheartedly agree! We've forgotten how to be tough.
ReplyDeleteIt's no easy task to engender the mindset to ask, beg; let alone demand our citizens to look at reality of what we face.
ReplyDeleteWe have become so cynical as to the public trust, that in having little, we despair and settle for even less.
Try to engage in dialogue with the average American (I define 'Americana' on my blog) on the Terrorist Threat, Iraq, Somalia or the subversion of the American Education Industry, and you'll find not only moral and cultural equivalency; but all the reasons (excuses) to not look at the recent or deeper history.
(Note please, I said "look at", not think, Lord forbid, or act.)
I have not drifted so far from the political realm that I believe that "go along, to get along" has changed. You know what I hear when a person on the parochial level agrees with me, and I suggest they speak out on it? "Why, I'd be a called a fascist".
I generally counter with, "What if you were called a patriot or even an American nationlilst?" If they don't go sullen with thought, I do something like spill a coffee cup so they'll remember the moment.
With a self-indulgent population, with only the moment holding meaning we must frame this threat better than we have.
Talking jingo and how we'd nuke'em is one thing, developing the message in whatever vulgate the country understands in quite another. This must be a total commitment; not all over there, but 'on the street where you live'.
Remember, Tom Sawyer got the fence whitewashed by luring his pals into the endeavor, making it an invitation. The fenced got whatewashed, his pals took a jealous interest in the job; thus they did it well.
It's one thing to send a clear message, but we must be sure that the message we send is understood without ambiguity by the people of both termini.
BTW, I am posting on Hezbollah in Venezuela tonight.
ReplyDeleteThank you Shawmut. I agree completely.
ReplyDeleteHi Jungle Mom. I'll be looking for it. Thanks for the heads up.
