Human Rights Watch Report on Indonesia

Gary Fouse

http://garyfouse.blogspot.com

Someone alert the Organization of the Islamic Conference. There is religious defamation going on in Indonesia. Human Rights Watch has a report worth reading.

http://www.hrw.org/news/2013/02/28/indonesia-religious-minorities-targets-rising-violence

We all know that there is a deep split between Sunni and Shia, which often explodes into violence. In the case of Ahmadi Muslims, most Sunnis do not recognize them as Muslims. In Pakistan, they are also subject to persecution, and it is illegal for them to even call themselves Muslims.

This is timely because on March 6, there will be an Ahmadiya event at UC Irvine. I am curious to hear what they have to say.

John Kerry Wows'em in Berlin

Hat tip PJ Media

Great choice, Obama

John Heinz-Kerry is in Berlin where he spoke to a group of schoolkids. We'll let PJ Media pick up the story.

http://pjmedia.com/tatler/2013/02/26/kerry-to-muslim-teen-in-america-you-have-a-right-to-be-stupid/

“In America, you have a right to be stupid if you want to be, and you have a right to be disconnected to somebody else if you want to be, and we tolerate it. We somehow make it through that. Now, I think that’s a virtue. I think that’s something worth fighting for.”

“Sehr gut, danke. Alles gut. Deine schuhe sind fantastisch, ja?” the secretary of State said. (Translation: “Very good, thank you. All is well. Your shoes are fantastic.”) He apparently meant to say the schools were fantastic.

                                                                             Fantastic shoes

He could have said, "Ich bin ein Berliner", which means "I am a jelly donut".

Next time, John, you better take that multi-lingual wife of yours along.

Too bad that kid never got his question answered. The correct answer is that our Muslim teenagers tend to be more assimilated than the ones in Europe, but John couldn't have said that, could he?

Big dope!

George Galloway Runs From a Debate With an Israel

George Galloway (in red)

Your friend and mine, British comedian George Galloway, was supposed to engage in a debate on Israel Wednesday night. That is until he (supposedly) learned that his debate opponent was an Israeli. At that point, he got up and left. Cherwell.org has the video.

http://www.cherwell.org/news/uk/2013/02/20/george-galloway-in-antiisrael-storm

I suspect George was afraid his adversary would prove to be more than his match.

Well, at least George didn't call him a liar like he did me at UC Irvine in 2009. (That's the night he was taking up a collection for Hamas.)

http://garyfouse.blogspot.com/2009/05/george-galloway-meets-liar-himself.html

George Galloway is a despicable apologist for Muslim extremists and Palestinian terrorists, such as Hamas and Hezbollah.

Galloway receiving his honorary Gazan diplomatic passport from Hamas leader Ismael Haniyeh

He was a friend and supporter of Saddam Hussein and his murderous sons.

He has been a supporter of the murderous regime in Syria and has heaped praise on Bashar Assad.

In May of 2009, he demonstrated to me that he is the very thing he called me-a liar. This week, he demonstrated that he is a coward.

Maher Hathout in 2012 and 2000

Gary Fouse
fousesquawk
http://garyfouse.blogspot.com

Hat tip to Joe

Maher Hathout of the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC)  is a figure celebrated as a moderate man who is engaged in bridge-building:. He speaks at many inter-faith meetings, where he wins the hearts of gullible Christians and Jews. I have spoken with him on a couple of occasions and asked him specific questions, such as why he will not sign the Freedom Pledge letter from Former Muslims United asking 200 of the top Muslim leaders in America to sign a simple statement that apostates in America should not be harmed. On July 13, 2012, I personally gave him his copy of the letter, which he stated he had never received.

On December 15, 2012, Hathout was featured at the MPAC annual convention held at All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena, California, where I had a chance to speak to him as did a local KTLA reporter. The below video, which has been provided to me by the producer, shows Hathout being interviewed by KTLA about his past associations with the Muslim Brotherhood as a young man in Egypt. Hathout denies any recent association since he left Egypt many decades ago. On this day, he also explained to me why he has not signed the Freedom Letter.

The below video then switches to October 28, 2000, when an event was held in Washington DC called "Al Quds" Day-an anti-Israel day of speeches by various Muslim figures. Hathout also spoke that day-as did Abdur Rahman Alamoudi, now in prison on terror charges, who led the crowd in chants of "I support Hamas-I support Hezbollah".(Hat tip Discover the Networks) In addition, Muzammil Siddiqi, another celebrated "bridge-builder" in Southern California, spoke that day and warned the US not to incur the wrath of God by continuing to support Israel. (Hat tip Investigative Project on Terrorism) In subsequent explanation, Siddiqi says that by the time Alamoudi spoke, he (Siddiqi) was on a plane back to Los Angeles. Yet, the notorious radical, Abdul Alim Musa (see below), can be clearly seen standing behind Siddiqi as he (Siddiqi) spoke.

In the below video, CAIR CEO Nihad Awad can be seen on the stage behind Hathout as he speaks. Most troubling, however, is the presence on stage of Abdul Alim Musa, one of the vilest, most anti-American, antisemitic, pro-Iranian figures in the country. That day, he spoke of how the "martyrs" go to Paradise when they die, while the Zionists just die (Hat tip Investigative Project on Terrorism).

Here is the problem: So many leaders like Hathout present themselves as moderates. Yet, when you look at their associations, it is alarming. I will submit that a moderate Muslim has no business sharing  a stage with people like Abdul Alim Musa-anywhere, anytime.

The Muslim Student Association in America

Gary Fouse
fousesquawk
http://garyfouse.blogspot.com

The Muslim Students Association (MSA) has over 150 university chapters across the US and is growing. They label themselves as a religious group that provides support and fellowship for Muslim students on campus. They engage in joint Friday prayers and organize social events, such as dinners. In addition, they engage in outreach to non-Muslim students and try to present a positive picture of Islam. None of that, of course, is objectionable, and having observed the issue for about 6 years, I hold the opinion that most Muslim students entering college join their local chapter for pure reasons. However, it seems that there is a troubling trend in MSA chapters that leadership positions are generally occupied by those who have a political agenda. Several past officials of MSA across the nation have gone off to join the terrorist movement. The most obvious example is Anwar al Awlaki. On September 9, 2001, two days before 9-11, Awlaki joined the UC Irvine MSU in a benefit event in defense of H. Rap Brown, aka Jamil Abdullah al-Amin, now serving life in prison for the murder of a Georgia policeman. Other former leaders of the MSA are currently in prison on terror-related charges. (Hat tip Frontpage Magazine)

MSAs also state in general terms that they are fighters for justice. That essentially boils down to being active participants in efforts to demonize Israel. Along with what can only be described as their sister organization, Students for Justice in Palestine, many MSA chapters hold annual week-long events devoted to de-legitimizing the Jewish state featuring numerous anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian speakers, some of whom are even Jewish themselves. (The SJP was conveniently formed at UC Irvine during the quarter that the MSU was under suspension as punishment for their disruption of the Israeli ambassador's speech in 2010).Yet, many of the speakers, such as those I have observed at the University of California at Irvine, also have made comments that can only be described as anti-Semitic and anti-American as well. These events have led to tension and confrontations on campus between Muslim and Jewish students who dare to express support for Israel’s right to exist. Of course, the most notorious example of this tension occurred at UCI in 2010 when the Muslim Student Union loudly disrupted a speaking appearance by the Israel Ambassador to the US, Michael Oren. (Hat tip Jewlicious)

In addition, physical confrontations between Muslim and Jewish students have occurred at other campuses across North America, such as UC Berkeley, UW-Milwaukee and York University in Toronto, to name a few.

One thing is crucial to recognize at the outset: The various MSA chapters are a creation of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. This was brought out at the Holy Land Foundation trial in Dallas in 2007. In that trial involving Islamic charities funneling funds to terror groups overseas, a seized document was introduced as evidence, It was a letter written in the 1980s, from a Brotherhood official, Mohammed Akram, to numerous organizations in the US, such as  the Islamic Society of North America and many others including the MSA. The document can be viewed here in Arabic and English. (Hat tip Discover the Networks) Among others, it contains this statement:

"The process of settlement is a 'Civilization-Jihadist Process' with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and 'sabotaging' its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim's destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who chose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal".

This is the same document and quote that I confronted Muslim Brotherhood spokesman Ibrahim el Hudaiby with on October 8, 2008, when he spoke in front of a UC Irvine class taught by Professor Mark LeVine, an activist against Israel. Hudaiby denied the authenticity of the letter and stated that there was no Muslim Brotherhood in America. He also referred to the words and writings of such people as Brotherhood founder Hasan al Banna and Brotherhood cleric Yusuf al Qaradawi, a rabid anti-Semite, as "proof" that the Brotherhood's intentions were peaceful. A bare minimum of research easily refuted those assertions, which I pointed out to Hudaiby in subsequent comment threads on my blog, Fousesquawk.

In 2012, the MSA came to national attention, when it was revealed the the NYPD was monitoring the activities of several MSA chapters in universities not only in the city, but in other parts of the Northeast.

Probably no other chapter has drawn as much attention as that of the Muslim Student Union (MSU) at UC Irvine. For the past decade, their activities on campus and the hate-filled words of many of their invited speakers have given UCI a black eye nation-wide.

My own involvement with the MSU at UC Irvine began in 2006. I had been teaching part-time at the university's extension since 1998 and did not frequently visit the main part of the campus other than to go to the library.) As I was leaving the library and going to my car to teach a class at nearby Concordia University, I passed by a speaking event at the campus flagpole area in which a speech was in progress by Washington DC imam Abdul Alim Musa, (formerly Clarence Reams, convicted drug trafficker) one of the most vile anti-American, pro-Iranian, anti-Semitic speakers I have ever heard. I only caught the last few minutes, but it was enough to hear him say that Islam was going to take over the US. "We want it all," he said while assuring us Christians and Jews that we would be protected. I was so hot that passing by, I yelled out and called him an "idiot". He responded calling me, "home boy" (as he often does). I then yelled something to him about hating America, to which he replied, "I survived America".

Abdul Alim Musa

Subsequently, I began looking into what was going on at UCI. Why would the MSU put up a banner on a campus wall proclaiming, "Racism: The American Creed", which I personally observed around that time? So I began attending the May events every year and listening to the hate-filled rhetoric coming from people like Amir Abdel Malik Ali and Mohammed al Asi, both of whom, like Musa, do not hesitate to attack Jews as people. It was al Asi who said at UCI in 2001, "You can take the Jew out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the Jew". It is Ali, who virtually every year comes to UCI and identifies particular public figures as "Zionist Jews" as he spits the words out a'la Julius Streicher. In 2006, Ali, flanked by two young men posing as menacing-looking goons, called Rupert Murdoch a "straight up Zionist Jew" (hat tip Stand With Us). Ali was also a speaker at the MSA Western Regional Conference at UCLA in 2011 where he led the audience in the pledge of allegiance at the close of his speech. The pledge of allegiance turned out to be the Muslim Brotherhood pledge of allegiance. (Hat tip Creeping Sharia)

But the MSAs have no connection to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Amir Abdel Malik Ali at UC Irvine

In 2008, the UC Irvine MSU's "Israel Apartheid Wall', which is hauled out every year, featured a caricature of Ariel Sharon drawn in the style of Streicher's anti-Semitic Nazi newspaper, "Der Stuermer."

But the MSU claims it is not anti-Semitic.

And who are some of the other speakers I have observed speak at UCI during the MSU's anti-Israel week? How about Cynthia McKinney, the discredited former congresswoman from Georgia (2009)?

It gets better. There is the supporter of Saddam Hussein, Syria and Hamas, British MP George Galloway, who actually conducted a fund raiser for Hamas at UCI (2009).

George Galloway (in red)

Another British radical who has spoken at UC Irvine for the MSU (2007) is Yvonne Ridley, a journalist who was captured by the Taliban when she tried to illegally enter Afghanistan to cover the war. Returning to Britain, she converted to Islam, joined the crusade against Israel, told British Muslims not to cooperate with police, and got a job reporting for Iran's Press TV until Britain shut it down.

Yvonne Ridley

There is Ward Churchill, the discredited ex-professor from the University of Colorado, who hath no love lost for his own country. He spoke at UCI during Israel-Apartheid Week in 2007 and acted like a juvenile. (Hat tip Mere Rhetoric)

Ward Churchill

In 2011, the MSU brought in Michael Prysner, an Iraqi war vet who had turned against his country, its military, and of course, Israel.

To be sure, in an effort to buttress their disclaimers at the beginning of every event that they are not anti-Semitic, the MSU at UCI has dragged in a variety of anti-Israel speakers who themselves are of Jewish origin. The most dignified of them is Hedy Epstein, a nice old woman in her eighties who was sent by her German family to London during the Third Reich thus surviving the Holocaust. I simply consider her terribly misguided. Yet, there are others who can only be described as left-wing radicals acting out their "rage against the machine". Jewish Voice for Peace has appeared at UCI (2011). They are a charming lot led by Israeli anarchist Matan Cohen, who think that any defense of Israel is "useless discourse" and not deserving of First Amendment rights. They disrupted the speech of Benjamin Netanyahu in New Orleans a couple of years back, an example of what they term, "direct action". Norman Finkelstein, a misfit professor who lost his job at DePaul University over his ridiculous "scholarship", now makes his living traveling the university lecture circuit damning Israel as "an independent scholar with a PhD from Princeton". Then there is Rabbi Ysroel Dovid Cohen of the fringe Neturei Karta sect in New York. They believe that Israel had no right to become an independent Jewish state out of some theological grounds. Weiss not only speaks against Israel, he is a personal friend and defender of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the Iranian regime, claiming that they protect their Jewish citizens. When I confronted him about Iranian treatment of gays and Baha'i, in May 2011, he refused to answer the question preferring to continue his diatribe against Israel.

To be sure, there are many others, and the people mentioned above have appeared at more than just our campus.

In addition, many MSA chapters are expanding their outreach into the local high schools, where MSA groups are also being formed. If it is strictly for religious purposes, that is one thing; if it is for purposes of early radicalization, that is quite another. It also raises the question; where is the money coming from the support these activities? Could the Council on American-Islamic Relations be involved? After all, they are still listed as unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation trial. Just last month, their San Francisco director, Zahra Billoo, spoke at UC Irvine (as did LA director Hussam Ayloush) during Islam Awareness Week. It was Billoo who used that infamous poster urging Muslims not to talk to the FBI.

All of this brings me back to one of my original points. I address this to the families of Muslim students about to enter college. If you are concerned about the possible radicalization of your son or daughter while in college, make it a point to research what is going on at the colleges under consideration. Check out the campus MSA. Do they have a history of activism on campus, and what speakers have they invited to speak on their behalf? It is very easy to find out. If you really care about this issue, it is just as important as any other consideration in choosing a college for your children.

Florida Atlantic University Bans Videos at Greta Berlin Appearance

Gary Fouse

Hat tip The United West

Greta Berlin

What is it about these anti-Israel events that they try to stop their opponents from filming their speeches when they are public events taking place at a public university? Twice in the past months, I have been told I could not film events at UC Irvine (by the Muslim Student Union and Students for Justice in Palestine). In both cases, I informed them of the law and continued to film.

Now comes Greta Berlin, an anti-Israel activist and leader of the "Free Gaza Movement" speaking at Florida Atlantic University on February 6. Tom Trento and members of The United West were told by a campus cop that filming was prohibited.

                                                        Great Berlin

Trento did the right thing. He informed the cop that he was in the wrong, but in the end, followed the cop's orders-and got it all on film. It is now up to Florida Atlantic University to address the incident. It is unlawful to prohibit filming at a public event in public space at a public university.

As for Berlin, here is a sample of what a toxic character she is (hat tip The Blaze).

That's right, folks. It was those Zionists who carried out the Holocaust according to nut jobs like Greta Berlin.

Omar Barghouti at UC Irvine (Cont.)

Gary Fouse
fousesquawk
http://garyfouse.blogspot.com

As I await news of Omar Barghouti's "much anticipated" appearance at Brooklyn College tonight with some misfit professor from UC Berkeley, I note that he is drawing big-time support from (who else?) The Socialist Worker.

http://socialistworker.org/2013/02/07/we-wont-be-silenced-about-israel

In the meantime, I would like to add a few more observations from his appearance Monday night at UC Irvine in front of about 30 people-almost half of whom were pro-Israel.

http://garyfouse.blogspot.com/2013/02/omar-barghouti-at-uc-irvine-februry-4.html

Aside from his attacks on Israel, Barghouti referred to "American racism and support for Israel". As part of his slide show, he showed quotes by Martin Luther King on oppression and justice, which were not made (by King) in reference to Israel. He also showed a cartoon showing a white person pointing at a black person saying "Go back to Africa", along with another white person telling a brown person to "Go back to Mexico", and a third white person telling someone else to go back to somewhere. (I forget the latter, but it had something to do with Arabs.) Keep in mind this is a man who was educated here in the US at Columbia University and is presently a student at Tel Aviv University, where I guess they don't take attendance-at least for students nearing the age of 50. (He was born in 1964.)

But I digress.

I would submit that Barghouti understands little about our history with race and what America was like in the time of King compared to what we are like now. He prefers to simply dismiss us as a racist nation that has not and can not change. By my calculations, Barghouti was about 3-4 years old (wherever he was) when Dr King was assassinated. I was in the army at the time and recall those days vividly.

Secondly, Barghouti spent a few minutes talking about something called "pink-washing", which refers to Israel promoting the fact that gays have full rights in Israel (as opposed to its neighbors), He then mentioned several gay entities in the US who are against Israel. As he did so, he constantly used the adjective "queer" to refer to gay people and organizations. I guess I am not fully up to the times, but when I was growing up and most of my life, to refer to gays as queers was considered the worst form of epithet. After all, the word does mean "strange", does it not? Seemingly, many gay advocates have adopted the word, as some blacks have adopted the n-word to keep it living in our lexicon, unfortunately. I guess in another generation, the in-word will be the f-word when it comes to homosexuals.

But I again digress.

The sad fact is that among Israel's neighbors, to be identified as gay is an invitation to persecution or even death (something to do with sharia law, you see). In Iran, they solved their "gay problem" by simply hanging them all.

That is why Mahmoud Ahmadinejad can proudly proclaim that Iran is "gay-rein" (cleansed of gays, as the Nazis would say).

That is why Barghouti has to bring up a nonsensical idea like "pink-washing" because he knows that the Jewish state stands in stark contrast to the Arab world when it comes to gays-and other minorities, such as its Arab and Muslim citizens, for example, who enjoy much more in the way of rights than if they were living in Arab countries.

Inconvenient facts.

Finally (and tellingly), when an audience member asked him if he would still push the Boycott, Divest and Sanctions (BDS) movement if a peace treaty between Israel and the Palestinian Authority did not satisfy him on a certain point, such as the "right of return", Barghouti answered that in such a case, the BDS movement would continue. No Palestinian government could bargain away their rights, says Barghouti.

So you see, what that means is that even if Israel makes that much sought after peace deal with the Palestinians, it doesn't mean the end of efforts to destroy the Jewish state by the Barghoutis of the world. The right of return is crucial because, if fully implemented, it would effectively end Israel as a Jewish state since not only would it mean 1948 refugees returning (most of whom are probably dead), but their descendants as well.

Besides, if BDS went away, what would Barghouti do with the rest of his life? He is a college student nearing 50 with no real job to pay for him traveling the world with his slide show.

Omar Barghouti at UC Irvine-Feb. 4, 2013

Gary Fouse
fousesquawk
http://garyfouse.blogspot.com

On February 4, 2013, Omar Barghouti brought his traveling slide show on boycott divest and sanctions against Israel to UC Irvine, hosted by the Students for Justice in Palestine, a warmed over version of the Muslim Student Union. Barghouti, who was born in Kuwait or Qatar (He wouldn't tell me which) is the classic example of the guy who bites the hand that feeds him. As he is advocating for the universal boycott of Israel, which he still insists is an "apartheid state" like South Africa, he is a student at Tel Aviv University. A critic of the US as well, which he claims is racist, he also studied at Columbia, where by his own description, he was a student activist.

If you have ever watched British twit Ben White or UC Berkeley propagandist Hatem Baziam speak, you know what to expect from Barghouti. Dripping arrogance, he goes through his slide show of anti-Israel posters, quotes from Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King (addressing other issues which Barghouti applies to Israel), plus photos and quotes of such "luminaries" as UC Professor Judith Butler, Naomi Klein, some guy from Pink Floyd, and other entities which support BDS, such as the Presbyterian Church. Like Bazian and White, Barghouti drones on in a flat monotonous tone.

Last night, he spoke in front of a packed hall of about 30 people.

Naturally, at the outset, the moderator, a student from the SJP/MSU told us that no video taping was allowed.

Wrong.

At that point, I interrupted and advised him that this issue had been settled years ago when a local state elected official, (Chuck DeVore) had attended an MSU event and was told not to videotape. DeVote set them straight fast.

"This is a public event at a public university, and we have every right to videotape", I said.

At this point, the young man suggested I go outside and consult with a campus policeman on the matter. I replied that he could go talk to the cop and if the cop wanted to come in and tell me not to videotape, he could. "It's the law." At that point, the matter was dropped and I began to film from the front row as Barghouti took the podium.

As you can see from the (3rd) video, I got the first question and asked him where he was born Kuwait or Qatar according to different sources). He didn't want to answer,. Nor did he want to confirm that he had grown up in Egypt. "Irrelevant", said he. Naturally,. he could see where I was going with the line-that he was a non-Israeli studying at Tel Aviv University, which makes him a hypocrite. The moderator jumped in, and he and Barghouti insisted I get to the question. As you can see from the video, things went down from there when I called him a hypocrite as Barghouti called for another question from the audience.  After I sat down, another MSU/SJP student came over to me and threatened to call in the campus cop, which I invited him to do. (He didn't.) Later, when the young Jewish lady I was sitting next to got into a heated exchange with Barghouti over the "apartheid" issue and referred to his lies, the cop came down and gently told her to simply ask a question.

Anyway, here is the video of this "event" in 4 installments. Try not to fall asleep.

This, Ladies and Gentlemen, is the crap we have to put up with on our university campuses.  This is no isolated incident. These anti-Israel, anti-America speakers are as thick as cockroaches on our campuses. Is it any wonder we have a problem with anti-Semitism on our campuses, particularly here in the UC system?

This guy, Bargouti, has been educated in Israel and the US. Yet, he is trying to destroy the Jewish state. In the meantime, he makes references to "American racism" and bemoans American support for Israel on our own soil. Yes, he has the constitutional right to spout whatever drivel he wants, just as I have the right to tell him what I think of him. This young man has no idea of American history and what the American people are all about. He consistently refers to Martin Luther King, whom he knows only from history books. He has no concept of the changes that have occurred in this country since the time of Dr. King. I do because I remember when King was murdered when this putz probably wasn't even born.

Go home, Barghouti.

Hell Has Frozen Over!

By Findalis
Monkey in the Middle

In his first term President Barack Hussein Obama refused to visit Israel.  In fact he did everything he could to insult that nation and its leader.  But today he has received a revelation from G-d.
United States President Barack Obama is planning his first trip to Israel as president, the Reuters news agency reports. Obama did not visit Israel during his first term.

According to Channel 10 news, Obama is planning to land in Israel on March 20. The White House has not yet confirmed a date.

The visit was reportedly planned following Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s victory in the elections. Netanyahu has been tapped to head the next coalition government.

Obama is expected to focus on reviving diplomatic talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. It is believed he will visit Ramallah during his stay.

Netanyahu has publicly named the resumption of Israel-PA talks as one of his top priorities for his upcoming term. The head of Israel’s second-largest party, Yair Lapid of Yesh Atid, has declared that his party will join the government only if there are serious efforts to resume negotiations.

The PA has so far refused to talk with Netanyahu unless Israel agrees to several conditions, including a full construction freeze everywhere east of the 1949 armistice line, including much of Jerusalem.

PA leaders have also demanded that Israel release terrorist prisoners, allow weapons imports, and agree in principle to giving the PA all of Judea and Samaria, with possible land swaps, for the creation of a new Arab state.

Source
In the past Obama declared he would not visit Israel until there is a deal to sign, but there can be no deal in this short of time.  And it is a fact that Obama hates the nation of Israel and its people.  So why is he really coming to Israel?

Just one thing.  Will he ride on a white ass when he arrives?

Omar "The Ingrate" Barghouti at Brooklyn College

Hat tip Divest This.com and Deliberation info

Tomorrow, Omar Barghouti, the anti-Israeli Arab who is studying at Tel Aviv University, will speak at UC Irvine courtesy of the Students for the Destruction of Israel, Justice in Palestine. Three days later, he will blight the already-blighted borough of Brooklyn as the various academics of Brooklyn University will be hosting him. This is creating a bit of a controversy.

http://divestthis.com/2013/02/omar-barghouti-comes-to-brooklyn.html

Looks like he will be sharing the stage with yet another anti-Israel academic, this time Judith Butler of UC Beserkley. This is not the first time her name has darkened the pages of Fousesquawk.

http://garyfouse.blogspot.com/2010/05/anti-israel-indoctrination-in.html

For any of you students at either school who plan to listen to Barghouti trash Israel, you only have to remember two things as he speaks about boycotting Israeli institutions.

This guy, born in Qatar, raised in Egypt, is receiving his graduate education at Tel Aviv University.

Secondly, Barghouti has also received a masters degree from Columbia University, right here in the good old USA. Yet, he seems to have some negative perceptions about, well, er, white people, who make up the majority here. He thinks white people are the most violent people on the face of this planet.

http://www.deliberation.info/omar-barghouti-on-white-people/

He may have a point in historical terms, but if so, me thinks we have been supplanted. I'll let it rest there.

Can you say, "hypocrite"?

 "Uhhhhhh.......yeaaaah."
