You might know them as Child Protective Services and the public school system, respectively.

CPS can investigate you based on an anonymous tip. If you exercise your 4th amendment rights, do not allow them into your home to interview your children, they interview them behind your back in the public school--and the law requires the school to cooperate.

CPS can request an order of temporary custody for your children from a judge at a hearing you are neither notified of nor allowed to attend, then remove your children from your custody based on only "preponderance of evidence." They are not required to offer parents "services" or attempts at reunification or even allow you to see your children while they are in state custody--a loophole in the law. The burden of proof lies on the parent, not the prosecution. They can terminate your parental rights with only "clear and convincing" evidence... and apply that termination to ALL of your children, past, present, and future.

You are denied a jury of your peers, not allowed to confront your accuser (the child), and not entitled to "beyond a reasonable doubt," because that is reserved only for criminals--child custody is a civil matter.

Civil rights and due process are not a consideration in this respect, because all parents are bad and only the Nanny State can raise them right. Might makes right, and the state has virtually unlimited resources while the parent has a court-appointed attorney, whose paycheck comes from the same funds; and they're not going to bite the hand that feeds.

Violations of discovery are overlooked and justified by the prosecution; unrecorded "interviews" with the child are encouraged and enforced; and behind the scenes is the manipulation and destruction of evidence not supporting the state's case against you.

You don't hear about cases where the state has wrongfully and willfully destroyed families and lives--without an apology or an attempt to make the system work better so innocent people are not violated by the system; they are only handed a bill for foster care and attorney fees.

It is a system that too easily falls prey to vindictiveness rather than truth; spite rather than honesty; revenge rather than justice.

How do I know this? Because I have lived it. I have been victimized by this system.

How do I know it will get worse under an Obama administration? Because CPS is entirely a liberal beast. The attack on the FLDS pales in comparison to what is to come.Angie Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02342713829455027103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5041404668013008872.post-86556816266931617072008-10-08T21:12:00.000-07:002008-10-08T21:12:00.000-07:00If you want to know what a person is truly like, i...If you want to know what a person is truly like, in this case, Obama, follow his money trail, especially Obama's own money.Joannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04644244465548927962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5041404668013008872.post-38902364359545746782008-10-08T15:05:00.000-07:002008-10-08T15:05:00.000-07:00His first 100 days will see the formatation of a "...His first 100 days will see the formatation of a "National Police Force" (Gestapo), the removal of guns from private ownership, and the reversal of 60 years of foreign policy.

We will see our children indoctrinated into the Marxist/Islamic faith via his program for schools (he's talking about taking schools out of local control and putting it into a national control).

We will see our basic civil rights violated when he suspends free speech, free press and free religion (he wants to incorperate Shar'ia law into the Constitution).

Then he will suspend the Constitution (just have one terror attack on the US for him to do that) and the Obama Presidency will become the Obama dictatorship.Findalishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02881549378886491540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5041404668013008872.post-47819684996190273502008-10-08T13:32:00.000-07:002008-10-08T13:32:00.000-07:00You're absolutely right--socialism in its worst sh...You're absolutely right--socialism in its worst shape is coming to America if Obama gets elected.

And the worst part is that many people who will end up voting for Obama, wouldn't know what they are really voting for. They don’t go to the blogs like yours, they don’t read long data-rich threads, they don’t watch scary YouTube kids-singing videos. We keep going down in polls because people listen to the huge propaganda machine–and take that BS at face value. What we need is an arsenal of conversation changers. These attention grabbers that make an impact in 5 sec. And THEN those whose opinions still can be changed may start reading more. Obama’s side if excellent in this. They have pros working around the clock on all sorts of visuals that go straight to the emotions level, bypassing the logic. Just take a look at this site to know what I’m talking about.

Can you name a single memorable anti-Obama poster that speaks to the center-leaning Democratic voter? I can’t. And to expose who Obama really is we need some of that. (Am I the only one who finds it disturbing that 25%+ of American adults are "mentally ill"?) While I agree with a diagnosis of NPD, Barry's Axis II must be rounded out with borderline and antisocial traits as well; and we haven't even touched Axis I. Add multiple personality disorder in as well, with his "other" taking over depending on the skin color of his audience, affecting the appropriate persona for a particular occasion. Maybe we should just start with psychosis NOS and defer Axis II for the time being. Of course, 5 different diagnoses would be given by 5 different evaluators, so who am I to say?

John McCain says Barry's no open book, but I disagree: He's an open DSM-IV, every page duct-taped to his empty suit.

You know, Roger, maybe that's the answer to the underlying question. One out of four American adults is mentally ill; what percentage of those is on psychotropic medications (AKA mind-altering drugs with chemical effects similar to LSD and/or crystal methamphetamine)? If you drug up enough of the populace, they become pliant, moldable, complacent, compliant. THEY BECOME SHEEPLE. They elect people like Barry - because they're told to.Angie Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02342713829455027103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5041404668013008872.post-80396032417577615742008-10-08T11:22:00.000-07:002008-10-08T11:22:00.000-07:00allee - do the right thing; you can never go wrong...allee - do the right thing; you can never go wrong.Joannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04644244465548927962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5041404668013008872.post-67711759908303093152008-10-08T10:56:00.000-07:002008-10-08T10:56:00.000-07:00Adding to allee's reasonable prognostication and t...Adding to allee's reasonable prognostication and the measured line-up of character deficiencies; Baraq also portrays all the symptoms of NPD - Narcissistic Personality Disorder. The right to vote for the candidate I want will be the first to go. Freedom of speech will follow immediately after that, and due process will not be far behind.

Then... I panic: Which is the lesser of two evils, President Obama or the retribution that will be exacted upon non-believers by enraged throngs of Obama-maniacs? There will be riots, and worse, if he is not elected.

We will have "stolen" the election yet again. I find it disturbing that this dead horse continues to be flogged; in the 5th instance of failure of the Electoral College, we were given President Bush. Yet in 8 years' time, instead of doing ANYTHING to ensure the EC could not fail again, they did NOTHING except blame Bush, and the same system remains.... So obviously there is still a chance that the EC will be wise enough to give us President McCain.

It is amazing how, a few months ago, our choices were between "the lesser of two evils" and now once again we find ourselves painted into that same corner, only looking at everything through a shattered mirror.

As for me, I have become afraid to vote. Any path carries me to doom.

~~Vote Obama = President Obama
~~Vote McCain = Brutalization by the masses
~~Vote Nader, McKinney, or Barr = President Obama (you know they will siphon more votes off McCain than Obama)

Never in my life could I have imagined being terrorized in the elections process, having people "get in my face and arguing" with me to vote for a candidate whose beliefs I do not subscribe to, or fearing that doing the right thing will have worse consequences than doing the wrong thing.Angie Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02342713829455027103noreply@blogger.com
